For the first time, Italian AFAM Institutions have the opportunity to offer third-level courses, namely PhD Programs.
The Conservatory of Foggia has proposed the activation of a PhD in “Electroacoustic Composition, Sonic Arts, and Intermedia Applications”.
The Ministry of University and Research, with M.D. 629/2024, has allocated resources under the PNRR – Investment 4.1 “Extension of the number of PhDs and innovative PhDs for public administration and cultural heritage”, for the creation of new PhD programs.
The PhD program lasts three years and admission is based on a competitive selection process involving qualifications and exams.

The available positions for the A.Y. 2024-25 for the Doctoral Program are:
– 2 positions with scholarship (PNRR scholarships, as per M.D. 629/2024, PNRR refers to the National
Recovery and Resilience Plan)
– 1 position without a scholarship
